PABLO, Zamboanga del Sur (June 22, 2018) –
One person killed in sea water shooting transpired at the sea water of Samal
Beach, Barangay Ticala Island in San Pablo municipality at about 6:00 PM of
June 21, 2018.

Mantos identified the victim as Yuniel Pakil, 23 years old, married, and
resident of Purok Talisay, Barangay Ticala, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur, while
suspects were unidentified.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that prior to the incident; the victim was fishing at the sea water
of Barangay Ticala Island of said municipality using his motorized pump boat.
Upon going home, he was waylaid by two motorized pump boat boarded with two
persons, while the other pump boat was boarded with one person armed with
undetermined calibre of firearms fired several times towards the victim without
any apparent reason.
SPO3 Mantos said, the victim sustained
several gunshot wounds in the different part of his body that resulted to his
instantaneous death, while the suspects immediately fled towards Barangay
Tarakan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.
PNP personnel of San Pablo MPS
conducted police operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing
suspects.
