SAN PABLO, Zamboanga del Sur (June 6,
2018) - A shooting incident transpired at Purok Nangka, Sitio Loquibong, Brgy
Pongapong, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur At
about 8:45 PM of June 5, 2018.
The victim was identified as Ronie
Lobina Abalos, Sr. 42 years old, married, driver by occupation, and a resident
at aforesaid place was shot by an unidentified persons.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that before the shooting incident took place, allegedly, four (4)
unidentified persons pretending to be customers, drinking beer at the store
owned by the victim.
After consuming 1 bottle of beer,
allegedly, two of the above-mentioned customers, approached and shot the victim
without any apparent reasons.
The victim sustained several gunshot
wounds on his body and immediately rushed to Pagadian City, Jamelarin Hospital
for immediate treatment.
Recovered from the crime scene were
seven (7) empty shells of 45 caliber pistol and four (4) deformed slugs.
Motive of the incident is still to be
determined. The unidentified suspects immediately fled away towards Barangay
Lumbayao, San Pablo direction after the incident.
The PNP personnel of San Pablo MPS
conducted manhunt operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing
